Sorry to rain on your blog, but EVERYTHING in Science is a theory.

It never ceases to amaze me how religeous nuts try to take just one piece of science "out" just becuase it disagrees with the bible.

Electricity, light, gravity, evolution, all theories.

If you are going to pick on science theories, GO RIGHT ahead, but don't pick and choose because you have a hidden agenda, and base your argument on solid, reproducable ideas....

Don't confuse the subject with the explanation of the subject.

Einstein's theory of general relativity provides the best explanation of how gravity works, just as the theory of evolution gives us our best explanation of how new species and adaptations come about.

Einstein's theory loses it's explanatory power at the quantum scale, just as evolution loses it's explanatory power at the genesis of all life from nothingness.

Both of these are not facts, they are the best explanations we have right now. That is why they begin with the word "theory."

Do you believe in gravity? Gravity's only a theory after all. its because nothing in the universe can ever be absolutely certain. Evolution is just as much a fact as the theory of gravity.
